Fiction concerning the beautiful game, and some news every now and then

PSG are fools if they bring in Messi or CR7

If I am the owner of PSG, if Mbappe stay,s I want Pogba/Ludinyama from galatasaray; if Mbappe leaves I want Viniciusjr/Rodrygo/Pogba/Ludinyama from Galatasaray. What does PSG need to have a greater balance is the question? if Mbappe stays, PSG don't need any attacking help. Mbappe/Neymar/Di Maria/Icardi/Kean/Sarabia/Draxler are more than enough. PSg have midfield issues. They need a player who can play the long ball from midfield as well as slow the game down back to goal from midfield. They currently have no one to do this , a team needs that flexibility. Pogba provides it. Herrera can leave for a team in spain . Verrati/Gueye/Paredes + Pogba allow PSG total midfield flexibility, which means Neymar , who plays centrallly under the striker for PSG in attack can have better support. In the selecao why is Neymar protected, cause Brasil have large midfielders in defense who have the skill to play artfully. Pogba is french, paris is in france, the rest is obvious. the wide defensive area for psg is fine. Kurzawa/bakker on one side and Florenzi/Kehrer on the other. Kehrer is a poor defender, but he works hard and can be used to give florenzi a rest for the matches against teams like Caen. The problem is center defensive depth needs help. Ludinyama is the answer. First he is athletically capable, strong, can run, can jump. Second, he is a tactically astute defender, likes to play the ball low at the back. Neymar drops deep constantly to get the ball and if he has pogba he has an outlet for the short lob which currently,, psg don't have. Strategy + elements in strategy called tactics should lead to greater team balance , for any club. Messi nor CR7 add anything except shirt sales and strategic imbalance to PSG whose offensive situation is stabilized currently. Why? Between Neymar/Di Maria/Mbappe who defensively recovers the least... it is mbappe. If messi comes in or cr7 comes in , now PSG have two players who are poor defensive recovers. That is like when Joao starts with Suarez in atleti. Two players can't float around. Neymar keeps getting kicked cause he accepts playing centrally in the mixer while his peers: cr7/messi/lewandowski/haaland/mbappe all play outside the mixer. While he is the best dribbler of all of them, as Benzema correctly said. These media rumours have to be from media itself.

IN AMENDMENT

If I am the owner/president of PSG I will not want either Messi or CR7 . I bet the media is behind all of this. I have thought about how media treats CR7+Messi. I think the media is fearful that their two anointed kings will not lift anything big in uefa in the future. If PSG is wise they do not accept either player, because their success absent Messi/Cr7 will kill the MEssi/Cr7 myth and that is good for modern soccer. Bayern munich isn't a threat to the myth. Bayern munich players are well known. The team is the key. For all of lewandowski's goals he doesn't have what cr7/messi/neymar/mbappe have. I don't even think lewanodwski's been to the world cup. like Haaland no matter how high his exploits, hsi flag is just to small, but when you play for portugal/france/argentina/brasil you have the potential for praise at club or country that is rare. PSg can't get messi or cr7 to make the legend of neymar/mbappe stronger. If PSG win it all this season, media will be forced to accept that the two best players are on the same team. Now PSG's administration if wise, builds around them. Don't add some old player with tons of twitter followers. Messi should go to MCFC. I don't know where cr7 will go, but it shouldn't be to PSG. I repeat, PSG need viniciusjr/rodrygo/pogba/ludinyama from galatasaray , that is how psg will find the balance
